  4. Released in , as a mostly live double album, this record is a peek into Frank Zappa's live shows of that time in his career. It's not a bad record at all, but it seems to continually bash the listener over the head with a very strong mysogenistic theme/5(68).

  6. Tinseltown Rebellion is a double Live Album by Frank Zappa, mostly containing older hits, but also some new material, such as "Fine Girl", "Easy Meat", "For The Young Sophisticate", "Bamboozled By Love" and "The Blue Light". The CD version made it one disc again.

  8. Another double album released as a single CD, and the beginning of Zappa's "80s period". After an unusually quiet (the first year with no official Zappa releases since the first Mothers album - between 19Frank averaged two or three albums a year), the mail-order-only Shut Up 'n Play Yer Guitar was released, but Tinseltown was the first Zappa album available in stores in the 80s.
  9. [EMI] totally screwed Tinsel-Town Rebellion with a horrendous and hideous cut which surely had nothing to do with Zappa. On side 1 at the end of "Easy Meat" the music should be continuous into "For the Young Sophisticate" but some hack at EMI decided to cut it right at the end of "Easy Meat" and then let the sound decay with an obvious fake.
